Women's Retreat

I just got back from a women's retreat yesterday. We stayed in a beautiful lodge in Monument Colorado located on the side of a mountain. I feel so refreshed. I needed this retreat not only to just get away from the kids and daily life, but I needed it to cleanse my soul. A few posts ago I wrote about something that has been giving me heartache, and had made me bitter and sad. I feel like I was just in a deep hole and could not see the light. But after this last weekend, I can see the light. God is so awesome and faithful. I know He is there for me, and I just need to put it all on Him. He knows what I am going through, and I know there will be changes coming soon. I also learned from this experience, that I need to change some things about myself...big time. I thank God for all of the wonderful women He has placed in my life. They are so full of knowledge, and they are so full of love. I am glad to call them my sisters.
